“I Am Needed Here” Forum

Objective

Bring together young people, public authorities and experts to exchange experience and encourage dialogue between regions.

My role

Organiser of the first Oryol District Youth Forum.

What was done

• Secured a grant of RUB 125,000.
• Organised four tracks: “My Choice”, “Time to Be Proud”, “From Builder to Engineer” and “Interethnic Dialogue”.
• Delivered workshops, simulation games and awards for active young people.

Result and status

The forum brought together more than 300 participants and 30 speakers from Moscow, Bryansk, Belgorod, Tomsk and North Ossetia–Alania. It was organised with support from the Russian Foundation for Free Elections, the Oryol Region Election Commission and the History and Law Club.
